Meg Whitman meets Gordon Brown in London

I just heard from fellow blogger, Chris Dawson, that the UK's Chancellor of the Exchequer (and future PM!), Gordon Brown, hosted the inaugural meeting of Britain's International Business Advisory Council today in London. Attendees of the first meeting includes Meg Whitman from eBay, as well as other world business leaders from companies such as Citibank, Rolls Royce and GlaxoSmithKline. Bill Gates is also on the panel, but didn't attend this first meeting. The Council will advise the Chancellor and the Trade Secretary on global business to ensure that the UK continues to be one of the top locations for international commerce. You can read more on Chris's Tamebay blog. p.s. sorry about the weather today, Meg (it's a grey, rainy day in London)! Share This
