Countdown to Cyber Monday: Daily Tips

It's less than two weeks until the Cyber 5, the 5 days from Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday!

We'll be putting out an e-commerce tip each day to share guidance that will help retailers throughout the holiday season.  

Today's tip: Add Gift-Themed Categories

Some shoppers know exactly what they want, but many are clueless!  Giving them options like "Gifts for Girls" or "Gifts for Dad"  helps guide them to the perfect gift, which also happens to be available through your website. 

The "Gift Finder" from Gifts.com in the screenshot below is a perfect example of how they are guiding shoppers to find a gift for everyone on their list. 

Experiment with different placements and styles to highlight these categories and make sure they receive attention. 

Bonus Tip:  Use these gift-themed categories for SEO as well by optimizing your site and  including long tail keywords like "Gift ideas for teenage boys" in the content you are putting out such as tweets, blog posts, landing pages, etc.
